Antonelli also set the Sprint fastest lap on lap 17, underlining that his pace held to the flag rather than arriving only in clean air at the start.
Qualifying then gave the same story a sharper Sunday consequence. Antonelli’s 1:28.111 was the only lap in the 1:28.1s, with Leclerc next on 1:28.286 and Hamilton on 1:28.458.
